Caring for Your New Pet

You’ve made the decision to invite a new pet into your home, and into your family. Now is the time to makes sure that your new family member is off to a healthy start, and Makefield Animal Hospital is here to help.

It is not uncommon for your new pet to have a few minor health issues at a young age, which can and should be addressed early on in their life. Once the pet is of age, it is also important to begin their vaccination series to ensure a long and health life.

Your initial pet exam will give us time to discuss the current and future health of your pet, as well as important care for your pet including dental, dietary, and physical exercise, as well as future vaccinations and medications that may be necessary.
